Delegates to the State Party Convention received some Fake News regarding Trent Staggs and it didn't work. He was the overwhelming choice of the Republicans at the 4/27/2024 State convention receiving well over 2/3 of the delegates votes.

Staggs is the only candidate in Utah to be 100% endorsed by President Donald Trump.  See the Endorsement on Fox News.

But the Candidates running against him, like John Curtis and former speaker Brad Wilson who finished a distant third, anticipated being defeated at convention and ran signature gathering campaigns hoping to fool the general public. Staggs did not gather signatures. He could have, he had the money to buy his way onto the ballot, but he chose to let his message carry the day and it did.

Now the three candidates will advance to the Primary Election where the general public will pick the Republican nominee and we can only expect the Dark Money DC PAC's to throw more money at Staggs because they are afraid of him.

Some things to consider.
If Trent Staggs was so bad would President Trump endorsement him?
Would Charlie Kirk have made a special trip to Utah to campaign for him?
Would he be the only candidate endorsed by Utah's Fraternal Order of Police, made up of over 5,000 officers statewide?
We think not.
