Utah Governor

Governor Cox not welcome at the State Republican convention.
"When the incumbent governor first took the stage in his first reelection test since being elected, he was met with some applause and a chorus of boos, forcing him to pause before choosing to abandon his prepared remarks to respond to his unwelcome reception."  Yahoo News
Cox took a hit when he vetoed the Utah ban on Biological Men in Women's sports and his veto was immediately overridden by a special session of congress, and took another hit when he proudly announced what his preferred pronouns were, but his final hit was when he went after an elected, sitting Attorney General (Sean Reyes) because he wants that position to be an appointed position answerable to him, not the public. The video below describes this attack.

However, Cox knew this was coming and didn't want to rely on the state elected Republican Party so he collected signatures to insure his place on the ballot. He now hopes to dupe the public again so he can continue converting Utah to a Red Sanctuary State.  He was overwhelmingly defeated by Phil Lyman who received 67.5% of the Delegates votes.
